PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

Computer-aided test bench for monitoring of parameters of TM suspension springs, swing suspension, bogie suspension, side bearer, antidrift device and TM suspension washer.

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

• Wide range of measured compression and extension spring forces.
• High accuracy of force measurement.
• Maximum time of one spring parameters measurement— 1 min.
• Automation with software-based determination of spring type allows to improve labor efficiency, significantly facilitate and simplify labor of employees, which reduces human factor effect.
• Computer-aided monitoring during testing of a spring allows to generate and keep an electronic datasheet with records of measurement results onto a non-volatile memory card (FLASH-storage) or, if there is a local computer network within the locomotive shed, to transfer the obtained information to the main computer via the network. Possibility of obtained results printing in hard copies.
• Availability of an electronic database with measured spring parameters, editable during the whole service life.
• The test bench is a comfortable workplace that allows to use labor hours of an operator effectively.
