Short description

In the process of operation, the complex continuously ensures measurement of volume and weight of fuel in the diesel locomotive fuel tank, locomotive speed, diesel engine crankshaft and turbocompressor rotor revolution speed, main controller position, current and voltage of the traction alternator, time of power equipment and diesel locomotive operation in various modes, pressure of oil and fuel in the diesel engine lines. These parameters are displayed on the indication unit in the driver’s cabin.

PURPOSE AND APPLICATION

In the process of operation, the complex continuously ensures measurement of volume and weight of fuel in the diesel locomotive fuel tank, locomotive speed, diesel engine crankshaft and turbocompressor rotor revolution speed, main controller position, current and voltage of the traction alternator, time of power equipment and diesel locomotive operation in various modes, pressure of oil and fuel in the diesel engine lines. These parameters are displayed on the indication unit in the driver’s cabin.

The hardware and software complex “Bort” (HSC “Bort”) is intended for automated acquisition of information on locomotive operation in order to monitor, register and analyze operation of its diesel generator set (DGS) and diesel fuel consumption, with possibility of remote monitoring of its own sensors and units, DGS parameters and operated diesel locomotive energy performance.

The complex is customized for each series of mainline or shunting diesel locomotives (TEM2 with all superscripts (a/s) ChME3 a/s, TEM18 a/s, TE10 a/s, TEM7 a/s, TE116 a/s, M62 a/s), but is highly standardized. HSC “Bort” provides a possibility of interaction (receipt/ transmission, processing of information) with devices of the unified automated diesel fuel consumption accounting system (DF UAAS) via the unified monitoring system for onboard systems (OBS UMS).
